I have been using this script for a few months now, it is much better than what I have been scripting on my own..
I edited the CSS to give more of FaceBook look, and edited the script to include a default avatar, and a sticky comment (admin only).
I use it in a password protected site, so I don't need the email, or captcha, and I can't provide a link for y'all to visit it,
but here's an image:

This is a purdy good script / btw, I have a few other things at my site, although
I have deleted most of it in lieu of FaceBook
