That's quite a big jump! You'll be able to keep your database (with all your comments etc) but it would be best to delete your existing /comments/ folder and upload the v2.4 /comments/ folder so that you can be sure that all of the files are correct. Then you'll need to change your integration code in the files where you're including Commentics, because the integration code has changed slightly. For example, $path_to_comments_folder has changed to $cmtx_path.
These instructions are for v1.8 to v2.2 but they are basically the same as v1.3.5 to v2.4:

Make sure to back up your database and files first. Also, if you can, do the upgrade locally first on your computer using
Wamp or similar. That way, if there's a problem then it won't be on your live site.

yes i have an old version that works very well but to use wordpress i have to upgrade as you told me.
The bad news is that i have to change the integration code over 407 articles :'(
