I want to install Commentics on a new machine (Win Server 2012 R2 X-64).
Should I stick with PHP V.5.5, or V.5.6 or possibly V.7 has also been tested with good results?

At the moment Commentics has been fully tested up to and including PHP v5.5. I've looked at the changes in PHP v5.6 and none of the changes would affect the script. I haven't looked at PHP v7 yet because as far as I know it's not in common use, at least not in production environments. So I'd recommend using PHP v5.6.
