Hello,

Let's say that I do not enter nothing in the Commentics fields and then I press the Submit comment button. Just before the error box appears (Please enter your name, please enter a comment, etc) the page briefly jumps to top and then returns to the initial position.

Why does this happen?

It's not just my installation, tested with pages posted in this forum's example implementations.

I can see your point that it's not good UX, but it's not a bug. It's just because the page re-loads and so there's a certain period of time between the page re-loading and the browser taking the user to where the anchor is on the page. It's the same with any anchor, except it may be more noticeable in cases like Commentics where there's a database driven script which adds a bit of time to the page load. In the next version of Commentics, it uses Ajax so it doesn't have this issue.
