This is in reference to Settings > Approval > Trust previous users

If the email address is not set to required, and there is no unique email address, how does this feature work?

Since there are many common names how can it be certain that the user being trusted isn't another user with the same name?

Hi Neo,

That's a good question.

In that scenario a user would be able to enter the name of someone who hasn't entered their email address and is trusted and it would assume it's them.

I think the setting only makes sense if the email is a required field.
