Hi Jennie,
That all looks right to me. During step 5, if the config.php file doesn't exist, it will ask for your database details so you may not even need to do step 6. If you have any problems with step 7 you can follow the FAQ I've linked to below. Yes step 11 is advised so that you're not using a password which was sent via email. If it's not live you won't need to use maintenance mode. But just for reference you're able to change it in the database 'settings' table by searching for 'maintenance_mode' and changing the value from 0 to 1.

Hi Steven
The upgrade to 3.0 has gone well and everything seems fine in the backend
In the front end I don't have any default form styling and I'm missing a few other bits, including a list of the existing comments.
Would you be able to take a quick look at the page and see if it's something obvious shouting at you that I've missed.
The URL is:
https://thinkgraphics.co.uk/excel/reviews.php
This is the URL of the old site:
http://www.excel-elec.co.uk/reviews.php
I have the original custom css file from the old site but it looks to be missing more than this at the mo.
Thanks
Jennie

It's trying to load files from a folder called 'commenticsentics'. If that's not right, you'll need to correct it in Settings -> System.

Sorry yes I just spotted that myself in the settings and corrected it. Still not loading the comments though, is it because they relate to a different URL?

Does the identifier in the page's integration code match with the identifier in Manage -> Pages?

Also the reason the BB Code modals aren't opening is because jQuery UI isn't loaded. You can load it by changing the setting in Extensions -> Themes.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something here, but the editor seems to be working OK to me.
I was playing with the jquery settings before, wasn't sure how much it was needed. Currently set to CDN - Google and I've got this in the web page:
<script src="
https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js"></script>
This works best for slicknav which I use on all my sites (will be added to new site)
Thanks for all your help
Best wishes
Jennie
