Just to be clear, I am redirecting from rkgenealogy.com => rkgenealogy.com/gen, which in the case of "commentics" means:
rkgenealogy.com/comments => rkgenealogy.com/gen/comments.
However, Commentics URL is explicitly set to: "http://www.rkgenealogy.com/gen/comments

Okay, I'm not sure then. You might need to hardcode the URL inside the function.

Hi Steven,
It is little embarrassing.. I find on a closer exam that the page.php file I am handling is corrupted. The last line in the function is "return; $url;". No doubt the function returns NULL. The test case was a re-installed location and it worked fine. My limited tests have shown that it is working fine at the 'production' location as well.
It is hard for me to say when the file got corrupted.
