MySQLi extension is not loaded
#1

Hi Steven.

WOW, what can I say. I am with you now (still running on 1.8) for years and now I see this - version 3.0 ???
You're a legend.

So, what's happening? I tried to installed 3.0 (soooo excited) on one of my new websites, but -I get this error message.

I looked up my PhP ini file and "pdo_mysql.so" extension is enabled. Plus, all minimum requirements are met.

Anything I'd missed?

PS: Database Driver: The only option I been presented with is MySQLi, so I can't change to any other, neither.

Thanks a lot

Hi Norbs,

It's 'mysqli.so' which it needs. The MySQLi extension was introduced in PHP 5 as default and is the preferred option by the MySQL team, as opposed to PDO.

It's good to see your enthusiasm for Commentics v3, I hope you'll like it as much as everyone else.

Have you completed the interview?

Never changed, never will.
There's nothing else out there which could reach you the bucket.

I have PhP5 on my server but MySQLi.so isn't included. Will contact my server guys then.

Thanks, Steven.
