How to move commentics to main-domain from sub-domain?
#1

Hi...

I installed commentics 3.1 to a sub-domain .
Now  I need to uninstall it from sub-domain and re-install it to main-domain.

How do I uninstalled everything including its database file?

Just move the Commentics folder from your sub-domain to your main-domain. Then in the admin area update the settings in 'Settings -> System'.

I need to move database file to a different database also because I have different database for different main/sub domain.
(commentics is under implementation so comment backup is not necessary)

You'll need to do an export from your sub-domain database (using phpMyAdmin or similar) and import it into your main-domain database. Then update your /commentics/config.php file if the database connection details are different.

I don't know what that means. Can you explain it more clearly.

To uninstall Commentics you delete the commentics folder and delete the database.
