I have searched for an answer to this but nothing has helped.
I cannot get images in comments to show up. All I get is the word "image" attached to the last word of the text.
I use a correctly hosted image entered in the popup dialogue box which enters the comment with [img] tags.
This is my second attempt to get commentics working but this has always happened with the images, and the video. I have tried to find a setting to change but nothing.
Just tried to insert a youtube video but the approval page writes it as:

[/IMG<i>(invalid-video)</i>]

Although the Youtube link was correct.

Also, I can't get notification emails. Approval is set to manual, method is php. Neither are the emails being sent to the subscriber, only notification of their subscription.

Please help, been through this before.

It looks like you tried to insert the video inside the closing image tag [/IMG].

Can you provide a link to your site so I can see what's going on. Also can you enable the preview button if it's not enabled so I won't have to post a comment to test it.

Are you saying that you're not receiving the admin new comment notification email? You won't receive this if it's you who is posting. The administrator doesn't get notified of their own comments.

Are you saying that the subscriber receives the confirmation email, but they don't receive the new comment notification emails? Did the subscriber click the confirmation link in the email to confirm their subscription?
