Some icons displaying - some not
#1

I've just installed, and I'm currently testing this program.
All seems well except for certain icons not displaying.
I've checked the path location to the images and all seems fine there. The png is where it should be, and other png's in the same folder appear correctly. For instance - I have 13/15 similes displaying, but the other 2 are in the same folder and labelled correctly!
No captcha tho (disabled that), no star's, no facebook icons etc...
I've checked other browsers on other PC's and I'm still getting similar display icon problems.

Help please.

Hi,

I'll need a link to your site to determine what's happening.

Have you completed the interview?

Thanks for replying so quickly.
I've enabled everything including captcha. Hope you can help.

I tried to view one of the non-displaying smilies by directly viewing its URL.

In Firefox I get this message:

Quote:The image “http://www.clubsforkids.co.uk/comments/images/smilies/wink.gif” cannot be displayed because it contains errors.

In IE and Chrome it displays only part of the image.

So, it sounds like it got corrupted when you uploaded the script.

Maybe try re-uploading the /comments/images/ folder. Before doing so, make sure that the images are being transferred in BINARY mode. Most FTP programmes handle this automatically. For example in FileZilla go to Transfer -> Transfer Type -> Auto.
