Hi!
If I want
(1) to save settings and reinstall from scratch and restore the old settings
or
(2) to transfer some settings to a different installation of Commentics
(such as Settings=>eMail=>editor=>etc.)
Where are those settings stored?

And by the way, where are the "Bad Words" for the Bad Word filter stored?

Hi,

The settings are stored in the 'settings' database table.

The bad words can be found by going to Settings -> Processor -> Comment and clicking either the 'Mild Swear Words' link or the 'Strong Swear Words' link.

Hi. Thanks for the prompt reply. My filter won't let me see the list. So I was wondering where they're actually stored (and not just where they're accessible in the control panel) so I can access them in a round-about way.

Ah, I see. They are stored in:

/comments/includes/words/mild_swear_words.txt
/comments/includes/words/strong_swear_words.txt
