Commentics v4.2

Why is it when you click in the "Drag & drop images" area on the form, the file upload window opens, and you can drag images there,...  BUT it won't allow you to drop an image into the area???

You can Drag & drop files from other places, but when you click in the "Drag & drop images" area on the form FIRST, IT WON'T WORK!

Additionally, how do you get rid of the "http://" showing in the Insert YouTube Video input and also in the Insert Link AND the Insert Image inputs???

Also, how does one get rid of the  .  input box sizing so that users can't resize the form input box???
                                  ..
                                  ...
Another thing, whenever someone hits the "Preview" button when making a post, a "Please check the errors below" message ERROR!! ALWAYS pops up.... but no errors are ever shown!???... and the comment DOES NOT get posted!  WTH!???

Please Advise.

I assume you're using either Firefox or IE? It works fine in Chrome and Edge. I've done some research into this and it's basically a browser limitation. Firefox and IE don't support dragging and dropping from their 'File Upload' window, I suspect because the primary intention of the window is for the user to click the Open button. If you feel that it's a bug that they should fix, I'd recommend submitting a bug report with them. Here are some links I found where other applications received reports about it:

It's expected that it doesn't get posted if you're only previewing it. As to why there's an error, you'll need to open your web browser's Developer Tools by pressing F12. In the Network tab find the one with 'index.php?route=main/form/submit' and click on it. In the Response tab copy everything there and paste it into this forum thread for me to check.

Have you completed the interview?

Yes, You are correct in that I'm using Firefox!  Perhaps that's where a lot of my issues are stemming from!?
