for some reason after i hit submit on my comment box, i'm directed to a page that instead of just .php at the end, it has .php#cmtx_form
on this page my comment box does not appear and page is incomplete
but if you go back to the origional page where the comment was posted, the comment will appear and all is good. what is wrong?

Hi,

'#cmtx_form' is just an anchor to position the user's scroll bar to the location of the submission success message, so I don't think that's the reason why the comment box isn't appearing. Instead, there may be a PHP error. Try this FAQ to check for any errors:
