Not sure if that was covered somewhere else, I couldn't find it, but...

I tried to do an SQL import from my old site to the new (with the new version of commentics) but to no avail. Any idea if that is possible at all?

Ok, so just to clarify, you exported the whole database from v1.8 on your old site (different domain) and you imported it into v1.8 on your new site?

You said "but to no avail". In what way did it not work?
