Suggestion for turning off comments on a particular web page
#1

I love Commentics and have used it successfully for over a year now. I appreciated the support and answer that solved a problem I had a while back why my HTML pages stopped showing the comments: I needed to update the code in .htaccess file.

Now I am wondering if there is a way to turn off comments on a particular page while still showing all the previous comments. I have searched this forum but cannot find an answer. I know Wordpress has an option to close comments on a page. Is this also an option in Commentics? If not, would it be possible to include it in a future update? There is one page on my website with already too many negative comments from people who have an axe to grind, and I'm getting tried of responding to them. :-)

Hi,

Yes this is possible. Just go to Manage -> Pages, edit the particular page, and change the 'Form Enabled' setting to 'No'.

Have you completed the interview?

Thank you so much! I wondered what that Manage -> Pages was for but never looked at it closely. It worked.
