After not being able to work on it during Saturday or Sunday, I have to say that I'm almost done (again 
). I only need to get that one array down. I've made it flexible enough to have an option to make it either way. If someone wants to hide the comments, a little css can fix that. Take a look at the Lifehacker commenting system for an example.
