Hye,

When the ten last comments fall on my homepage and i click on one of them, i am redirected to a shortened url. The original url was 300 charaters and it is shortened to 250 characters and I am not redirected to the comment because this is not the right url.

Hi,

Sorry about that. I didn't expect any URLs to be longer than 250 characters.

You'll need to increase the length of the URL column using phpMyAdmin.

1. Go to the 'pages' table.
2. Click the 'Structure' tab.
3. Select the 'url' checkbox.
4. Click the 'Change' button.
5. Enter the length (example 1000).
6. Click 'Save'.

Then, in the Commentics admin panel, go to Manage -> Pages and correct the URL for the page.
(or do it directly in phpMyAdmin)

I'll increase the length for the next version. Do you think 1000 should be okay?

it stays one thing to modify, it's the file " edit_page.php " in comments/includes/pages. We had to change maxlength="250" to 1000 for example to be able to modify in the Commentics admin panel" Manage page" the old url by the correct URL for the page.
