Updating my site in https
#1

Hello friends,

I am using commentics since a few years. I have the 2.2 version.

Is anybody can give me the process for changing http to https for commentics ?

I hope there are not too much files to change !

With thanks

Hi Eric,

Did you change the 'Comments URL' setting to https in 'Settings -> System'?

Have you completed the interview?

Hi Steven,

I just tried it and its almost ok (I though it will be more difficult), only I have 2 urls keep in http :

http://data-vocabulary.org/Review-aggregate and http://data-vocabulary.org/Rating

And when I am connecting to my commentics admin, the dashboard is still in http !

Thanks

Eric

Those two URLs are in:
/commentics/includes/template/comments.php

I believe the admin area uses whichever protocol it's given. So if you visit it using https it should keep it?

Have you completed the interview?

My last question, I saw that the commentics captcha is using shockwave flash. And this technique will be ended in a few times.

Is it easy to replace it in my version (2.2) ?
