Strange problem when editing comments
#1

Hello, I've encountered this problem when using commentics

Problem:
I've set to manually approve comments. However whenever I go to Manage -> Comments and click on edit under actions column, and within that I set approved to yes, the comments encapsulation shows up correctly in my website, however, the contents of the comment disappears! Sad

I've enabled backend error reporting and this showed up the next time I tried to update my approvals.

Notice: Undefined index: comment in <home directory>/comments/<admin name>/includes/pages/edit_comment.php on line 46

Notice: Undefined index: reply in <home directory>/comments/<admin name>/includes/pages/edit_comment.php on line 47

Anyone has any idea what went wrong?

Hi,

Can you try disabling the WYSIWYG editor in Settings -> System.

Also, what browser are you using?

Have you completed the interview?

Internet Explorer 9 lol...

[Edit 1]
Interesting, disabling WYSIWYG seems to have solved the problem =D, what about WYSIWYG that caused this error?

It's a known issue with CLEditor and IE9. I just experienced the same problem when testing it myself.

I tried this fix but it didn't work for me.

I'm sure it will be fixed properly soon. In the meantime you might want to use a different browser or keep the editor disabled if using IE9.

Have you completed the interview?
