possible?

What I want to achieve is, the form would be hidden (default) and only show (expanding div or maybe even better, light-box style popup) when a link like "add comment" would be clicked.

Any suggestion and - which version to use?! (I use currently version 1.8)

This feature was added in v2.0.

It's in Layout -> Form -> General.
