I'm pleased to announce the release of Commentics v4.5.
Vanilla JS
The biggest improvement has been the removal of jQuery, in favour of vanilla JavaScript. This has resulted in a file size reduction from 285kb to 144kb, while it will also help in making Commentics more integrable with modern websites which are using jQuery less and less.
Layout Settings
This version provides a number of new settings related to the layout of the form and comments. It's now possible to change the size and alignment of the form fields, where the labels appear, choose between two comment layouts, as well as change the shape of the avatar.
What Else
Other things worth mentioning are PHP 8.3 compatibility, an events system, CLI (Command-line Interface), PHPUnit tests and a number of bug fixes.
