Issue running installer
#1

I'm trying to install 1.8 new install onto a live server on LunarPages.

After running the installer and it goes thru its check, the PHP version fails, saying not higher then PHP 5.2.

But my host has this version.
PHP version 5.2.17

Not sure what is going on or what I can check for. Not sure why its failing when its at 5.2.17. Does anyone know what I can do or a way to force the install?

Thanks

Hi,

If you're sure you have PHP 5.2.17 then you can force the install by going to this URL:

installer/install_1.php

EDIT: I created a php test page, and its showing i have version 4.4.9, but the host shows 5.2, so I have a call into my lame webhost provider to see why I have conflicting stats.

Added this line to my .htaccess AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php. They must host a dual 4/5.
