I am running a very old version, v2.2.  I want to upgrade to current version v3.3, but instead of going through the several version upgrades I would rather just delete the old commentics and install a fresh v3.3, it would probably be cleaner with less issues and also easier and faster that way.  My question is, is there a way to keep the old comments with the new install, for example by using the same database name?
