Domain per admin
#1

Hi

I just installed Commentics recently to discover it. In many ways it's the option I was looking for. I'm amazed by all the customisation options it offers. Congratulations on this contribution to open source!

I have seen that many permissions can be configured for new admin users, but it's not possible to assign a specific domain per admin. This would allow to respect privacy between domains and users. Is there any option to achieve this?

Thanks for your time

Hi,

I think the closest thing to this would be the 'Page Owner' module (available in the Client Area).

That allows an admin to be restricted to manage only the comments of a specific page. It wouldn't take a great deal of work to extend it to a specific site instead. The admin would then be restricted to all of the pages and comments belonging to that specific site.

Have you completed the interview?

Good. It's always better to have a dedicated option, but it's great to see that there is a way to do it! I understand that means getting it through the Commentics paid option. Right? In any case, it's a relief to see such a reasonable price... Heart

On a blog site there can be many pages where comments are included (every blog post). I see that it's easy to include the code in a template to embed it in all the pages of the site, but can something similar be done to assign pages to an administrator? Maybe using some wildcard?

Thanks for your time
