Which page to link for users's login
#1

Hi,
Thanks first for your great work. I'm trying to set up commentics in a way that users need to log in to be able to comment.
What page should I link to so they can log in?
Is it ../comments/backend/index.php?route=login/login ?
What is the point then of renaming "backend" if it has to be exposed?

PD. In fact I'm planning to modify commentics to let authorized users vote+add comments for feature requests with a limited set of votes. Do you have any recommendations for any PHP system that may already be implementing that?

Best regards

Hi drwx,

Commentics doesn't have a register/login page. It just uses the name and email address (that the user enters when posting a comment) to figure out whether it's the same person.

If your website has a login system you can connect that with Commentics by following these FAQs:

https://commentics.com/faq/php-integrati...in-to-post
https://commentics.com/faq/php-integrati...in-details

The URL 'backend/index.php?route=login/login' is strictly for admin users and shouldn't be shared with anyone else.

No sorry I'm not aware of any PHP scripts for that.

Have you completed the interview?
