I'm playing around with commentics so I keep creating users and deleting them and I'm getting the below message. Any way to disable it?
There was an issue with your subscription. You have pending email.

Also I'm using commentics for a testimonial section for my website. If people are leaving comments then do they need to be subscribers?

It's displaying that error message because you've already requested an email subscription for that email address and you haven't yet clicked the confirmation link in the email, so the subscription is still pending.

The subscribers are stored independently of the comments, and they are listed in Manage -> Subscribers.

You could:

A) Delete the subscriber in Manage -> Subscribers.
B) Confirm the subscriber in Manage -> Subscribers.
C) Click the confirmation link in the email.
D) Unselect the "Notify me of new comments via email" checkbox when posting a comment.
E) Enter a different email address when posting a comment.
