Rich Snippets is constantly evolving which is why Commentics provides a number of settings to set it up according to the rules at any given time.
To illustrate this we'll show an example of how we set it up on this website. For this website we decided that the most suitable Schema.org type was SoftwareApplication. It's typically best to go with the most specific type available, however this can mean that extra properties are required.
When using the Rich Results Test tool, it stated that some extra properties were needed. The exact feedback was "Two or more properties required from the following: 'offers', 'aggregateRating', 'applicationCategory', 'operatingSystem'". To satisfy this we used the Commentics settings to add properties for 'applicationCategory' and 'operatingSystem'. These were the final settings:
