forbidden error after install
#1

i have installed this on beautiful elegance.co.uk/comments followed the instructions. all set on the server via cpanel...
but now I'm stuck...

IM GUESSING i goto /comments/index.html as a starting point of the comments page... but I'm getting a forbidden "you don't have permission to access this folder"

I don't have a htaccess file.

Am i missing something here? i did do a bit of searching (shocker huh) lol and saw a reply to someone asking what the error log says, my error logs say nothing btw.

Lee (England)

ps...
just opened that html file and that page is actually what its meant to say lmfao !!! very odd.... so what is my starting point to include the php into my "reviews.html" page?

Hi,

The /comments/ folder is not meant to be navigated to directly, so it's normal to see that error.

You need to follow the Integration guide:

Hi Bleemster, I just get the reviews page (which is blank). That's in Firefox, IE and Safari (on Windows).

The code varies from host to host. Adding this might work better:

Code:
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php5 .php4 .php3 .php2 .phtml .php .htm .html
AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .php5 .php4 .php3 .php2 .phtml .php .htm .html

This problem is more suited to your host so please ask them if the above fails.

There's a setting for that in Layout -> Form -> General.

This page has some useful information:
