After migrating Commentics to a new domain, I am getting the following message at my Commentics admin panel:

The referrer has external origin.

You have arrived at this page from outside of the admin panel.

Please access this page through the menu above.


I commented out the code block near /* Check Referrer */ at my /admin/index.php file, this enabled the admin panel to work and I was able to make the changes so Commentics works in the new domain.

However, when I uncomment the code around /* Check Referrer */ the admin panel does not work. I am assuming that leaving the code commented out is a security risk?

Went over the details in the  admin panel > Settings > System and all works as expected.
