Everything was working great! Now, without changing a thing, I am receiving cannot connect to the database error on commentics login and on all of my pages. Went to the comments/includes/db/connect file and do not know if there is anything wrong there. Site is very busy and hoping to get feedback. Example page:

Posted this and went back to find everything was back to normal...
Any suggestions as to why this may have happened other than a finnicky Yahoo server?

It's hard to say. It may just have been a general server issue unrelated to your website. But as your site is very busy, it could also have been that you overloaded it. I imagine they would contact you if that was the case. If it happens again then it's probably best to ask them about it where either they will fix it or advise you to move to a more high-performance server which can cope with your traffic.
